Hopewell vs Prince George (Girls' Basketball)

On Thursday afternoon, the Hopewell Blue Devils play against the Prince George Royals. Takiyah Purcell led the way with an impressive performance. She had 24 points, and 8 rebounds. Madison Tolbert followed with 13 points, 3 assists, and 5 rebounds. Alexis Edmonds also had a big game with 12 points, and 4 rebounds. Those three girls played excellent defense, racking up a combined 10 steals. Another player that played great defense was Ariel Green. Green had a total of 7 steals, to go along with her 10 points on offense. These girls played a great game, and got a big win over Prince George 74-44. They will play against Matoaca on Thursday.
