In their latest game, the Hopewell Blue Devils played against the Lakeland Cavaliers. Dennard Hutchinson led his team with 14 points, and 8 rebounds. Elvin Edmonds had 12 points, 4 assists, and 6 rebounds. Kaleb Coleman had 8 points, 4 assists, and 5 rebounds. James Pelham had 8 points, and 5 rebounds. Unfortunately, Hopewell couldn’t get the win in this game, and were knocked out of the playoffs. The final score of the game would be Lakeland 61 to Hopewell 58. They finished their season with a 19-4 record, and played in tons of great games. Hopewell will be losing three Seniors next season (Kaleb Coleman, Dennard Hutchinson, and RJ Richardson), but will likely have players step up in their positions. I hope to see them back in the playoffs again next year!
