The Hopewell Blue Devils traveled to Prince George to play the Royals. In the first half Trey Henderson would score 5 TDs (4 rushing, and 1 receiving). The defense would also play great in this half, their play would set everything up for the tremendous athlete. Robert “Nook” Briggs would also play a key role in setting up his fellow RB. The Devils would go up 33-0 at half in the area’s Game of the Week. The Devils would let up for one score in the second half. Despite this, DE Keyon Williams would look dominant. He would force a turnover late in the game on a fumble recovery. Nook Briggs would have the last score of the game on a rushing TD. Devils go on to win 40-7, and will face off against Matoaca next week.
