This Wednesday, Hopewell’s Field Hockey team played against Colonial Heights at home. In this game I thought Hopewell played great, with an aggressive offensive pace. The ladies scored a goal by Brianna Banks, assisted by Anna Lee. They also played well defensively, Goalie Samantha Murphy had a few saves that were also key in getting the win. Coach Stables said after the game “I’m so proud of all of the girls, and their hard work to get this win.” Overall, this was an awesome win for the ladies, and hopefully they can continue this.
