This weekend the Dallas Cowboys would travel to play the New York Jets. The offense would struggle in the first half, but would pick it up towards the end of the game. On the other hand, the defense would have trouble for the majority of the game. This unit would produce one turnover in this game on an interception from Jourdan Lewis. In the first half the defense would allow 21 points, while the offense would only score 6 points, not a good look for the team. The offense in the second half would look to make a comeback. In an effort to do so, the Cowboys put up 16 second half points. Due to a missed kick by Brett Maher, and a missed 2-pt conversion, they were not able to finish this comeback. The Cowboys would lose 24-22. Jerry Jones said after the game that he doesn’t believe that we are a top team currently, and honestly I’m going to have to agree with this statement.
