Cat Scratch Fever: Cowboys vs Giants

The Dallas Cowboys played the New York Giants on Monday night. Dallas wouldn’t be able to start this game off on the right foot, after Dak Prescott threw an interception on the first play. Despite allowing the Giants to have great field position, the defense was able to hold them to a field goal. After this though, the Boys would make big plays, but weren’t able to get in the endzone until the second quarter. That play would be a dump off to Blake Jarwin, that would turn into a 42 yard touchdown. The Giants could not seem to take down Jarwin, as he ran threw multiple defenders. In the second half, the Cowboys would fire off, scoring 3 TDs in the fourth quarter. Dak Prescott seemed to be able to find his receivers for big gains. They would play well on the defensive side as well. One of those fourth quarter TDs, would be a scoop-and-score by Jourdan Lewis. Through it all, the defensive line would have great play. A big reason why, would be the addition of Michael Bennett, who had a sack, and 2 TFLs. Dak Prescott would throw 22-35 257 yards, 3 TDs, and 1 INT. Ezekiel Elliott would rush 23 times for 139 yards. In the end it would be the black cat running the field in the second quarter, that would steal the show. The cat would find its way all over social media during the game. Cowboys go on to win this game 37-18, and they will play against the Vikings next week.
