Miami vs Pittsburgh

In this week’s matchup, the Miami Hurricanes played the Pittsburgh Panthers at Heinz Field. This performance would still not be the picture perfect one most fans were looking for this season. Despite this fact, the Canes would still get the job done winning the game 16-12. The play that secured the win for the Canes would be the beautiful pass from Jarren Williams to KJ Osborn. Jarren Williams would replace an injured Nkosi Perry late in the game. Miami’s defense would produce the most turnovers in one of their games all season. Two of the turnovers would be interceptions by DJ Ivey. Ivey has received a lot of criticism, especially after his coverage on a fake punt TD last week. The other turnover would be a fumble forced by Bubba Bolden. One player that has really made a name for himself on that defense, despite not starting at the beginning of the season, would be Gregory Rousseau. Rousseau leads the ACC in sacks with 8 on the season. On the offensive side like I said before KJ Osborn made a catch that would just about give the Canes a win, as long as the defense held up their part. Osborn is one of the key players on offense, and will hopefully be a name we hear on Sundays. As far as the QB position anything can happen. With Jarren, he’s a pocket passer with plenty of potential, but holds onto the ball to long. Due to our offensive line flaws, he doesn’t have time to sit back and go through reads. Nkosi on the other hand tends to run a little bit more, has a strong arm, but is having issues with his shoulder. We have yet to see much of Tate, but I wouldn’t mind seeing him start if he can get the job done. This is a nice win for the team, and hopefully we can win the upcoming games and get into a bowl game.
